Kablaaw. Kumusta. Hello. Aloha.
My name is Khat. I grew up in the Philippines and moved to the island of Oʻahu at the age of 10. For the past 14 years, my family has called the spirited community of Kalihi home.
My journey into fashion started young, sitting beside my grandma as she sewed costumes, curtains, and clothes. I would collect her retaso to make tiny outfits for my Barbie dolls and from those early memories, my dream began. Moving to Hawaiʻi gave me the chance to chase that dream, and I ran with it.
This little tindahan is my love letter to my community and to everyone who believes in slow, intentional fashion.
I work in small batches, 1-of-1. Sustainability drives every choice I make because nature doesn’t stop, and neither should we. Para sa ating Inang Kalikasan.
Fashion na may saysay, yan ang pinanghahawakan ko. I believe slow, thoughtful choices matter.
Thank you for visiting my munting tindahan. Your support for small, handmade work helps keep real stories alive.
Lahat dito ay gawang kamay, mula Kalihi, para sa inyo, pusong buo, gawaing totoo.
Agyamanak. Maraming Salamat. Thank you. Mahalo.
